    Sure Shecrab,

The K92 Secret Sound contest is a radio contest that is based in Roanoke, VA. It is open to anyone within the listening area about 150 mile radius?

You have to listen from 7:00AM-7:00PM M-F for the time to call in. Then you have to be the 19th caller and make a correct guess at what the sound is to win. The prize is currently 2000.00 dollars and it goes up a little bit, every time someone makes an incorrect guess.

The clues are given out 3 times a day, (for the times and days you need to become a member of the loyal listener club at K92 HD, Virginia's Number One Hit Music Station!

You can listen to the station online, but it is about 3 or 4 minutes of a delay, so when you hear the time to call from the internet radio, by that time it is already over usually.

All of the clues have something in common with the others.

here are some of the clues from last year:

    1. this sound has 2 distinct parts
    2. Chicago Based Outreach (D.O.O.R.)
    3. Paragon Brand (Paragon Doors)
    4. 7500 New York City Kids use this every year
    5. Radio Rookies Feature
    6. Christiansburg Church Founded in 1971 (Open Door Baptist)
    7. Live Music Venue in Chicago
    8. Build me up Buttercup
    9. Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Delaware (Breeds of Chickens)
    10. Clues for both parts of the sound
    11. The end takes 11 minutes ("The End" by The DOORs)
    12. Look Overhead (Overhead DOOR)
    13. Bridget & Holly (Girls Next DOOR)
    14. A movie with jack and jack's daughter
    15. Bon Jovi, Avril Lavine, Aerosmith
    16. Three's Company opening ("Come and knock on my DOOR")
    17. Numbered Kids
    18. Old Crazy Cat Lady - (Next DOOR neighbor)
    19. Popular Radio Superhero (Chicken Man)
    20. REd - Elizabeth - (Red DOOR perfume)
    21. Simpson, not Homer or OJ (Simpson DOORs)
    22. Obama will not be shut down (Obama Chicken Restruant)
    23. Professional blower
    24. Cheap trip to Europe - (Back DOOR Travel)
    25. Divide the deck
    26. Swinging and sliding (DOORs)
    26. Swinging and sliding (Hmmm... could it be... DOOR?)
    27. People love the French (This could also be DOOR ... French Door)

So the most common words here are Door and Chicken

the answer was: Putting a chicken in a roteissery oven and closing the door

I don't have a sound clip or know how to put it here if I can get it, but to me it sounds like a vaccum cleaner sucking up dirt or something?

Good luck, I hope you can figure some of the clues out.
