As well, the timestamps on the old memorabalia are clear-to-read.

The date on the very recent treasure chest, however, is blurred on the "year".

    .
Still waiting for the first clue, lol. Unless you consider "above 5000 feet" to be a reference to the Mile High city, or Bridge St, Miles City, Montana.

Doc, yes indeed. Like jumping to the "bottom drawer of the desk" clue before determining the correct city, state, building, and room.
    I drank what?

You can assume the same is true for north of Santa Fe. Santa Fe's geographic coordinates are N35.6869, W105.9372 so any location with a latitude greater than 35.6869 degrees can be considered "north of Santa Fe". So Alaska and New York City are valid (though not in the Rocky Mountains). Jemez Springs' latitude is N35.7356.
What about the "south" part of "southwest" ? North of Sante Fe, South of Toledo. (that is why I am questioning the "south" part, and which Toledo)

I had been looking at the "marron" some time ago, as well as pueblo, etc.

"Dunn" also means "brown" ... it looks like if anything, these would be complementary to the find ... there's just too many ..

here's any example ( "Minnehaha" means "waterfall, rapid water" in Sioux )

"I've done it "tired", and now I'm weak"

That's over near the Hondo (=deep warrior)

There's also a John Dunn in Taos.
