You say that "A cowboy treasure solution is also buried with the treasure". Could you elaborate on what you mean by "a solution"? I worked for more than a year on "Cowboy" and came very close to figuring out where the treasure is located. There are other people who have come close also, and some who have even traveled to search the site. It hardly seems fair to those who have been working on "Cowboy" to give someone who is working on 12-12-12 a "solution to cowboy" when this new hunt may have nothing to do with the other. And someone who is working on 12-12-12 may not even know that "Cowboy" exists.

Also, I know there are those of us who were working on "Cowboy", and got stuck. Might it not make more sense to give out a hint to one of the puzzles that yet remain unsolved in the "Cowboy" book, rather than give a solution to the person who solves 12-12-12?

I hate to even say this, but giving a solution to "Cowboy" to someone who was not even working on it or gave up on it long ago, seems like a slap in the face to those of us who has been faithfully working long and hard at it, and came so close to a solution.

But then again, these are your hunts, and you can run them any way you want.
I am not going to comment directly on any of this. Hunt and Have Fun. You a perfectly welcome to feel however it is you feel.

OK Domino - I ponied up and bought the calendar. Looking through the calendar and the accompanying hints, is this puzzle only solveable if you are local to the site, or can it be solved, or at least generally solved from remotely, saving those few that are local to the end? I would like to take a stab at this, but dont want to head down a bottomless shaft.

    cheers!

I'd say most is totally armchair, at least to know where you are going and where you would dig. There are some things in there to help you once on location. Hope that helps.

Anyone else working on 12-12-12? I have made some progress. Currently working on a list of 12 cities, think I have most of them but they are not yielding anything. Peculiar geographic alignment on some of them however. Not sure if this is intended or just coincidence.

I hope some folks are working on this. It is a cool calaboration and a fantastic find if it gets solved. Really and truly it is not toooo difficult. 12 is key (not ness. THE key) on everything. Thoughts on me adding the puzzles individually here and/or hints?

If someone can tell me exactly where it is at, I can arrange to have it dug up if you can get there.

Hints- 12. One less than a bakers dozen. There's your sign, the clock is ticking. Go find the casque, ring and more.

I can tell you exactly where it is AND can get there, why would you have to arrange to have it dug up?

Hints- 12. One less than a bakers dozen. There's your sign, the clock is ticking. Go find the casque, ring and more.
What? IS that a hint or a trailer?

Well, a week to go for this hunt 12/12/12. Solved some of the puzzles but unless we get some real serious hints in the next 8 days, I think this may fade away into the past...

    1. towns reveal trees
    2. Dates
    3. Use with 11 and others. It describes how to orient yourself.
    4. Reveals coordinates. You'll need to use with another tool. There is also another way to use the zodiac and words to get numbers.
    5. Something is Key
    6. Spells out words, put them in the correct order. No King. . Shows where to put the shovel in the ground
    7. An adjustment. Confirmer
    8. Flag- Sound out. Tells exactly to find the location to dig. Use with 6 for sure.
    9. Michael Jackson is also famous for this. - Confirmer, reveals a road or landmark.
    10. Dirty - Confirmer, something near.
    11. Shhhhh! Dont tell anyone, there are twelve of these too (Shows Exactly where the site is located. You can use Google maps too for this, once you know what to look for and where. Use Puzzle 3 with this after you find it)
    12. In a biblical sense, there are 12 of these (reveals a sign near the location)

    Dig.

Oh, and that "can" should have been CANT. I stand ashamed and corrected.
