Default CustardQuest - What would you like to see in this new hunt?

Hello to everybody again. I posted some information by my soon-to-launch hunt game, CustardQuest, a week or so ago. I explained how the hunt will work in that post, so you can go back and take a look at that post if you want to see the full explanation.

But since CustardQuest is just starting, I was wondering about what the Tweleve members would like to see in a new hunt? If it's something I like that I can integrate, I will.

The concept of my hunt is pretty simple: read my paranormal investigation notes at CustardQuest, decipher the clues hidden within the text of the notes, find the special engraved stone I have hidden somewhere in the continental USA, and then report the find and code engraved on the stone to win reward money. The hunts will happen as often as I can create them and afford to finance them. I'm only a kid, so my financing is limited to funds from mowing our lawn and any CustardQuest stickers bought on the website.

So do you have a little suggestion to try to make this game even better? What were some of the best parts about other hunts you've participated in?

    Thanks,

    Custard Marks

Thanks for the question Garbers*5. I would like to start it in about a month -- mid-March. I will put up several postings on Tweleve the week of the hunt, including the day before to remind everyone here. I intend to post the investigative notes on a Saturday at noon EST, so most everybody will be able to get a fair start.

Thanks again for asking. The Truth awaits.

Why do you have to be 18 to claim a prize? If you are kids, don't you think you would want kids participating in your hunt? The site looks like it is kid-friendly, and not designed for adults.

    How big are the rocks?

Will you only have one rock to find at a time?

Thanks for the questions, Genetic Blend.

You only have to be 18 to "claim" the prize. You can be any age to play the game. I placed this age minimum in the rules because I read it in the rules for another popular hunt game. I assume it has to do with the fact that minors can't enter into contracts, but I'm not sure.

In fact, I would love for kids to participate in CustardQuest. CustardQuest is geared somewhat toward young adults, but I envision kids and parents playing together. But I also created it for adults to play on their own too. I hope adults find the "investigative notes" entertaining and challenging too. In the end, I don't care what age the participants or winners are. CustardQuest is for everybody.

As for the rocks, I don't want to say how big they are or describe them in any other way. You'll know them when you see them.

Yes, you will only have one rock to find per CustardQuest. One set of investigative notes will lead you to one stone.

I don't want to make any guarantees, but the first CustardQuest will probably start within the next 3 weeks. I'll post several times on tweleve the week leading up to the first CustardQuest.

    Any more questions, just ask.

    Sincerely,

    Custard Marks

Thanks for answering my questions. I will certainly watch for your new hunt. I think my son would be interested in it too.

Excellent, Genetic Blend! That is exactly my hope - parents and their kids can do CustardQuests together.
