I made it over to Caesars over the weekend but I missed Frey. The coins are on display but I was suprised how small they were. When I think gold coins I think half dollar size these are more like dime to quarter size.

Not the size, but the weight.

New article about the entire Endgame phenomenon may be of interest...

I am truly dismayed. Even if solving the "first puzzle" simply means opening the Stone portal, I feel really stupid.

But then again, Frey's a notorious liar, a blackguard and a publicity whore. I'll try to take comfort in that.

My guess is that the "first puzzle" was the tbots one. Maybe the first puzzle was *finding* keplerfuturistics.com. I sincerely doubt 20,000 people have opened the stone portal. I wouldn't be surprised if less than 20,000 people even know the book exists. No idea for sure though.

"The node will be equipped with the ability to selectively attach to or embed itself within an external mobile host. Examples of hosts include people, animals, vehicles, fluids, cellular organisms, and forces (e.g. selectively rolling down a hill.) These hosts provide a source of translational energy, and in the animate cases, they know how to navigate within their environment, allowing the node to simply decide if the host will take it closer to a point of interest. If so, the node will remain attached; when the host begins to take the node farther from a point of interest, the node will disengage and wait for a new host."

That is a bit too "Matrix-esque" for me.
