    Default Tech Hunts

I'm really curious to see what this community thinks about hunts that have been released that involve checking into online apps/games to get clues.

Hunts like Endgame and The Quest for the Golden Eagle involve social media and even playing games to get clues towards solving relevant puzzles to each hunt. What do you all think of the turn that some hunts have been making?

This topic flooded my mind when I was looking around for hunts. I read a lot into them (hunts like those i listed above) and just am not totally attracted to the idea of using apps or technology designed for a hunt, but at the same time, technology is evolving in such a way that it's a valid way to keep information these days.

I just miss the thought of actually finding things that aren't pixels. Anyone else feel this way?

Just some thoughts to think about, and maybe share

AQH, I agree. I don't mind doing some online research, but I like the hunt to be in real time, and not require social media or continually logging into a site or using apps. Give me a Masquerade, A Clock Without a Face, Fandango, or even Historical Hunt any day.
