Yesterday was a happy day for the 52 Master Pieces crew. We launched our contest a bit over 12 hours ago, and the number of registered players is now over 300 (and counting). We hope that everyone here gets a chance to check out 52masterpieces.com, enjoy the puzzles, and try to win great prizes. It's all free.
Also, while we very much welcome and will encourage discussion and feedback here on our Tweleve thread (ah, the good old days of A Treasure's Trove), we have also decided to create our own forum that is dedicated to this contest. Visit us at Home | 52masterpieces
Our three-day weekend was very productive. We did not shop for groceries, we did not go see a movie, we did not do laundry, we did not mow the lawn. We solved puzzles. And we liked it! And we... cannot say more at this time.
Hi catherwood! Great to hear from you. I hadn't checked this thread in a while...wasn't sure if anyone would post here again. Very happy to hear that you've been participating and liking the puzzles.
We've had well over 100,000 page-views on our site, over 500 registered players, and thousands of guesses of Master Pieces...and more than a few of them have been correct.
For anyone else reading this, if you like puzzles there's no reason not to stop by our free website to see if you can solve the 52 Master Pieces: http://52masterpieces.com.
Dear Puzzle-Solvers and Treasure-Hunters,
Need a clue to solve your first Master Piece? Here's your chance.
Contest Clue: You can't trust the Key, including Page Three.
See you at 52masterpieces.com,
P.S. It's not too late for you to be a prizewinner in this contest. Good luck!
Hello, all. To celebrate the 1-month anniversary of the launch of 52 Master Pieces, 13 more pages of the Answer Key have been unlocked today, June 20th (the even-numbered pages of the Artist, Electrician, Athlete, Chef, Adventurer, Mail Carrier, Judge, Politician, Archaeologist, Yoga Master, Wildlife Biologist, Philanthropist and Historian).
If you've been hoping to win one of the unclaimed prizes in this contest but haven't yet solved your first Master Piece, today's clue should help point you in the right direction. To view the clue, visit 52masterpieces.com and click on the News icon (the small megaphone) at the bottom of the screen.
The 13 remaining pages of the Answer Key are now unlocked at 52masterpieces.com (the even-numbered pages of the Musician, Plumber, Locksmith, Actor, Engineer, Magician, Captain, Jeweler, Soldier, Philanthropist, Museum Curator, Scholar, and Cryptographer). The Answer Key is now fully revealed.
P.S. Stay tuned for an upcoming Contest Clue that will guide players directly to the hidden instructions for solving the Master Pieces. If you haven't yet solved your first Master Piece or if you solved a few and then stopped, we encourage you to continue your quest...there are still unclaimed prizes that you could win!
I can't believe there are still unclaimed prizes! Does this mean that fewer than 52 players have crossed the finish line? Or perhaps a few of the Masters were solved by "magical" means and those players cannot adequately explain their method. I've had some private messages which make me question my own path to at least one solution.
btw, in the list above, I believe you meant that the Philosopher's answer key has been revealed, as the Philanthropist was part of the batch last month.
I can't believe we must wait yet another month to hear about the grand prize winner! Looking forward to seeing what kind of hints are coming for the meta puzzle(s). *big smile*
You are correct, I should have written Philosopher instead of Philanthropist in the above post (we can't edit posts here after about 15 minutes).
Yes, there are indeed unclaimed prizes. I can't say more about this yet, but all details will be revealed on 8/20.
