    Rough crowd... lol.

The book is not horrible.. it's not great either but not horrible. I do like that I find no spelling or grammatical errors so at least the author took the time to write it properly. Yes the book is a infomercial for the "Law of Attraction" aka "The Secret" if you have watched that movie. I think that's hogwash but as long as the "treasure" IS hidden then I am ok with it. And that's the rub wtih these kind of things right? All I can do is take the guy at his word that he hid it and the clues lead you to it.

Once you find the treasure (I believe it is a wooden suling from the story / I had to look up what a suling is how about you?) you turn it in to the author and he will give you 50,000 gold dollar coins or write you a check if you prefer. He will also give $5000 to the charity of your choice and you get 100 bottles of a wine that is in the story.

I am not trying to sell anyone on this book (the less people involved the better my chances right?). The author has stated the first 3/4's of the book give you a city then the last quarter tells you how to find the treasure. In the book the 5 friends are on a treasure hunt and the clues they follow we are supposed to solve and follow. I like the idea I just don't know if anyone will figure it out by Sept. He is confident it will be found by then. It reminds me of the Custard Quest stories if anyone remembers those. Here are some examples of the clues I have found and you will see why I asked for anyone that lives in that particular State.

    gold with purple and green
    frog prince
    Fletch 2
    great balls of fire
    NCIS and Nightwatch

This is one of the clues the characters in the book had to solve "Hodaddy tsktsk prettify introfly South Georgia". Cajun accent maybe?

One of the problems with the WHOLE book being a potential source of clues is that things like grammatical "errors" may be taken as possible clues. like

    They should interview you Nels
    (no comma)

There is a place in the book that can be taken to mean "pay attention to this piece of text" which text can be anagrammed to "tiny state of ..." and can also be taken as a hidden video.

I'm not sure if this is coincidental; that's one of the problems with this hunt. There are the "obvious" clues in Chapter 22 (which may be red herrings?) but we have also been told that the clues are "between the lines". Since the entire book is offered as containing clues, the possibilities are daunting.

This is a 1 hour Q&A I did with Pete Bissonette about his book and the treasure hunt.
