Default NEW Ideas on how to solve this...

I've been working hard at the puzzle and I really think I'm making some progress now. I've unscrambled "Mti. dei Frentani" in the Romans picture into "Find it at Ermine". Ermine Street is an old Roman road linking London to Lincoln. Of course hiding the token near an old Roman Road makes complete sense to me in the context of the puzzle.

Here's an idea that I've played with. The word "oggi" appears a lot in the Romans picture. "Oggi" means "today" in Italian. One of the mountain heights is 2165. 21 June 2005 (2005 is also a mountain height) was the June (summer) solstice. The summer started at 07.47:12 GMT this I've considered might be the "final six" referred to in the master riddle. The whole "Lost in Time" theme seems to make sense.

    Any thoughts anyone?

I believe the solution is a 10 digit number and it is this number that is used to locate the token. I'm thinking a grid reference, but can anyone think of other ways in which a 10 digit number could be used to locate a specific area?

If you look carefully in the Romans and Columbus pictures there are little triangles made up of three dots. They look like the star arrangement under the box in the Cats picture but much smaller. Has anyone else noticed them? Any ideas why they might be there?

    Default Triangles of Dots

These triangles of dots are hard to find. There's one in the Roman's picture, look at the map of Sicily it's right next to the word "ALCAMO". So far I think I've discovered five sets of these dots.
