    Default Taman Shud Case

I'm sure most of you would be aware of this if your into cryptology.

This case came about in Australia in 1948, and I only just heard about it this morning.

Taman Shud Case - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Now, what interests me is the code is unsolved and has been for around 60 years.

I'm really over doing torment, so I figured whats the harm in spending a week on this.

No real reward, well except solving a 60 year old riddle thats been plaguing Aussies.

    The code is this:

MRGOABABDMLIAOIMTBIMPANETPMLIABOAIAQCITTMTSAMSTGAB The crossed out line is on the page that was found on the dead mans person.

What I've already found is that the first line reversed fits with a substitution.

    (W)
    DBABAOGRM
    TAMAMSHUD

But if i've reversed the for the rest, it doesn't make a heap of sense.

Thought i'd post here and see what you guys thing.

Sorry, copy and pasting failed, the code is:

    MRGOABABD
    MLIAOI (Crossed out)
    MTBIMPANETP
    MLIABOAIAQC
    ITTMTSAMSTGAB
