Default Is this definately a beetle page?

I don't see the beetle on this page, but everyone keeps using this as the map/kep page for the beetle.

If it is....then I'm thinking that the lone "E" in the leaves might be a clue that the "E"s are significant in solving the blocks puzzle on page 63.

But....I don't see no stinkin' beetle.

    Default page 69

    Riverdog,

The beetle is located in the dropcap. If the dropcap was divided into four quadrants, it would be in the upper left. You can see the head looking at the seven o'clock position.

What lone E are you referring to?

Reading clockwise, the leaves at the bottom of page 69 read
"AND THEY WILL SHOW YOU WHER E TO GO"

So why is the E on the bottom-right flower not on the top-right flower in the word WHERE?

Am I correct in my understanding that page 69 holds a key/clues to the puzzle on page 62? And also the black line in the dropcap is a trail map?
