Going on the crazy anagram bent

"MOONLIKE, MOONLIKE"

could translate into

"LOOK IN ME, LOOK IN ME" as the sound is coming from the knotholes of trees.

I think the dream sequence contains the clues to find the Pook crystal.

'Moon-like'. What single word best describes the moon in our book?

CRESCENT. Anagrams to CENTERS C. It's the grid clue for this puzzle: C goes in the center of the 5 x 5 grid.

DREAMER anagrams to either R READ ME or READ ME R. Either way, I would read the next part from the right.

ONE ON to be read from the right: N O E N O. It's the set of directions to navigate the 5 x 5 grid: north, blank, east, north, blank.

ENDING = END IN G. When you navigate through the 5 x 5 grid with the above directions, you will end in the letter 'G'.

Moon-like, moon-like, dreamer one on ending = Center's C; north, blank, east, north, blank; end in G.

I think all the treasures are linked to puzzles that yield these same three types of clues: a grid clue, a series of directions for navigating the 5 x 5 grid, and an anchor letter.

Why do you think there is an extra 'e' in twelve? To give you the grid clue for the bee puzzle. Why are there pointing fairies? To give you a series of directions for the hummingbird puzzle as well as show you a particular tree to look within. Why does the dragon 'S' show up on a different page? To give you the grid clue for the ant puzzle.

Etc.

Or, so I believe....

Doc

Moon Like, Moon Like. Dreamer One On Ending. I cause your puzzling.

I've been pondering this phrase as a rebus of sorts and I think I've come up with a partial

The letters that are moonlike are C and O. The Moon Like phrase is repeated twice. Could this mean CO2 -- carbon dioxide?

Zac is the dreamer Z+ONE = Zone ... the OZONE ?

The only word I can think fits "I cause your puzzling" is Ignorance.

So, is this a green peace message? I'm not entirely pleased with this solution, but it fits the description of what is happening. The hole in the sky that the sun floods through could easily mean the hole in the OZONE. And CO2 is a major contributor to the Greenhouse effect.... the mist?

Any way, perhaps this will lead to a more satisfactory solution.
