I was just about to say the same thing.

Regarding this page, though...I would like to add to turkeymonkey's summary that this is the only puzzle page I've found that has the entire alphabet (minus the letter Q, of course!) on it.

    The answer is TWELVE!!! ROFLMAO!!!

Actually, FRSTPRZFA first came up with the idea of using binary in the exact same way (straight=1, curved-0). I don't know if she ever got anywhere with it, but this is a perfect example of someone posting an idea, and someone else actually following it through. Good job!

Everyone, keep posting those ideas, no matter how whacky they may seem. You never know what idea it could spark in someone else!
    Thanks H4T,
I was really thinking back then of Morse code with dashes and dots with the Patterns on the blocks... but I think Binary is a great thought also... Denise

But won't they be specific if you specify that a certain letter equals another certain letter? Working off the initial post above, I used U=T.

    I'm not arguing just wondering.

Yeah, in theory all those coded words would be deciphered with the same cipher developed using an alphabetic shift or some other method... something with a system that will create a meaningful phrase without total random letter correlation.

    Default codebreaker

I could smack myself for not seeing that sooner, but as far as an anagram goes, EKYPCAMENE

    MAP KEY CENE ??

    NECK EYE MAP ??
    KEEP MY CANE?
    KEY NAME PEC??

I think that the name of a type of map which the treasures abide ON is what we might find.

    Default Other Anagrams

PF008 --- I found the NECK EYE MAP phrase, too, and wondered if you used the eye(s) and neck(s) of a particular character(s) in a given picture if you could discern an identifiable, usable map. In a picture where Ana is in the Willow tree all the eyes of the Darklings seem to be looking at her. Perhaps if you draw straight lines from all the eyes until they ran off the page you would get some instersections on important parts of the picture. I haven't tried it, I'm just thinking out loud...

Well, that (eyes pointing to other places on the page) is exactly how the book Masquerade was solved, which MS says was his inspiration for the book. I cannot imagine that MS would use the exact same method for solving, and would not make it more original. For example, I think the pointing eyes of Masquerade was his inspiration for the pointing faeries.

The only difference that makes is that the second word won't have a T since there is no U in it. That still leaves a LOT of four-letter words as possibilities, though.

    Default Blocks

Don't know if this has been posted anywhere before but...
If there is a way we can see the blocks so that there are 25, or somehow fill Zac's "box" with 25 of the blocks, maybe line them up by the grains on the sides? Also, I just noticed, the "G" at the top, why is its border incomplete??
