Question

We are having difficulty discovering the passwords & poems. Are the passwords indicated in some way or do we just guess? Are the poems well-known? We are really frustrated that we seem to be doing really well with everything else, but what should be obvious for us isn't. Maybe something in our water! Tee! Hee! Any suggestions or help would be appreciated! We're loving it so far! Thought we were going to party all day when the book FINALLY arrived!!!!

If you discover the poem, then you will have discovered the password, and vice versa.

In each chapter, the poem is embedded within the text, although the method will vary by chapter.

Correct; in each of the 12 chapters, it's not too difficult to determine what the cipher/code text is. Sometimes it's a little more tedious to extract it, and the type of code is not always so obvious.

Is it possible to solve the sudoku puzzles without the book? I have never done sudoku before and a quick search on the internet hasn't helped yet. Just asking before I engage my google-fu in vain. Thanks!

Can't see how you could do that. So far they have been pretty easy ones. I am sure they get harder toward the end.

Default Thank you~

stvwz, and to all players....you make everything seem so simple yet sometimes I just don't see what you see. I followed you stvwz on The Lost Symbol and you and the players were great. I haven't stretched my brain this much for a very long time...since college I guess almost 15 years ago now. This site and the puzzles are truly wonder. Just wanted to say thank you.

My book arrived and I dislike "greatly" chapter one. The extra letters give me a headache...but I know it is probably good for me anyway.
