This definitely sounds interesting! I think I may brush off my brain and get back to it.

I've been looking to restart hunting again; I even started re-vamping the ATT solution site a couple of weeks ago (it's not actually hosted at the moment; just a local copy). It's hard to believe how long ago all of that was...

Just ordered my book. I think this one should be fun and considering I lost my job two weeks before Christmas, I should have plenty of time to work on it.

    Good luck!

    Cool

    Random thought(s):

I dont know, it seems so "ScrollQuestesque"...I may be wrong but something about it in many ways just gave me that feeling as I went about the site.

One thing that bothers me is that it says repeatedly "All you have to do is find the treasure" which really is not the case. All you have to do is buy book (which many of us have done before repeatedly) register your book, solve chapters, answers 240 questions-get them right, get keys, get in the right order, submit answers, electronic maps.. etc. etc. There again is that relying on computer usage for a multitude of the "solves". Dont take me wrong, this appeals to a lot of you and others as well, and I'd love to go hunting for a Million Dollar eagle. But, I still like a good source such as The Secret where...here are you clues, go FIND it.

Not trying to be a pessimist on this. I am just "cautious" when anything is listed as "valued" at over $1,000,000 and the style has a familiarity about it. Plus, someone has to play the devils advocate...my first of 2010.

    Happy Hunting.

Thanks. I'm taking this opportunity to follow my passion and try to make it professionaly in the theatre, which I've done on the side for the last sixteen years. We'll see what happens.

I was thinking about ordering this book too, but being cautious myself I contacted Media relations @ Mel Fisher's Treasures.. This my request and reply.

    Request:
Hi I was just wondering if in fact Mel Fisher's Treasures did donate an emerald to The Worlds Greatest Treasure Hunt. I just learned about this book and wanted to know the legitimacy of this "hunt". Thanks in advance for any information provided.

    Reply:
We did in fact donate the emerald. We know Ron Shore well and the hunt is legitimate. I have personally seen the eagle and it is beautiful. We even have the press release listed on our website. The latest news - Mel Fisher's Treasures Best of luck.

    Thanks Mikmaq,

Always good to hear a hunt has been validated by a third party.

I've already ordered the book and can't wait for it to arrive as I'm really looking forward to having a go at this one.

This makes me feel a little better about my purchase as well. I think for me, the going factor was that this was gbeing done for charity and not someone's personal gain.

    Is this the first clue.

On the cryptex page there is a rectangle with a number 2 and 4 combined, and letters using an old font or language. Also, no. 98460, (maybe Tacoma, Washington zip code.) Don't think to hard to solve the cryptex.
