    Post Ch8 Poem

I was able to guess the author of the poem and tried solving by using a columnar transposition as some people have suggested but can not seem to get anywhere? Any other good hints or suggestions? Thanks ahead of time!

Keep going with what you are doing. You may get tired of shifting but it should come into view. Just make sure you didn't miss any letters like I did or it can throw everything off.

DO i need a keyword for this columnar transposition?? Looks like I will have to go back and check the letters I wrote down. Also when I am trying to decipher it, should the XX's be included or excluded?

I've PMed instructions on how to hand-solve a transposition cipher without a known column order. I haven't done this part, but I would automatically assume that the answer to whether Xs should be included or not will depend completely on if it will cleanly be divisible with or without them (eg. if it is a clean division (no remainder) with them, leave them in).
