2. Well, add me to the list of hapless souls who has tried to tackle the Q20 sudoku. After all the methods I've tried, I'm having trouble believing that the solution will be an elegant one. After the first twenty or so guesses, it just feels like an arbitrary game of random pattern-making.

Has anyone gotten the solution and said, "aha! that solution really is the best choice of all the possibilities"?

I'm genuinely hoping that the flaw is with me, rather than this being just a silly trial-and-error finale puzzle.

Keep plugging! There is a pattern. For me, it was more of a case of misinterpretation before I got it right.

I needed a LOT of help with C12Q20, and I did not have that reaction at all when i finally got it.

Don't feel bad Calvin...I'm in the same boat as you! I've been asking people at work to help me out because I've never been good at Sudoku puzzles.

I'm afraid to even try and figure out the words/codes at the end of this chapter, my brain might explode! I'd say I'm half to three quarters finished the book's questions already but because I've been bouncing around, it might take me a few more read throughs before I reach the "240 Group". But I'll get there eventually!

Happy hunting everyone

It felt like a silly "trial-and-error" finale puzzle to me. Completely random. Even when you've got the right answer you look back on it and say "uh, why?"

Surprising since almost everything else I've seen in this hunt appears to be quite logical, purposeful and well thought out.

Maybe there's something we're all missing, but... I don't think so.

Hi everyone, I am a neebie to this site and enjoy reading all the comments and clues.
I am having trouble with the password for this chapter, I have the poem but can't find anything from the poem to fit. Have tried numerous words from the chapter but nothing is working. It is probably very obvious but I'm not seeing it. HELP

It is contained in the poem. If you took the crypted text and compared it to the poem you will find extra letters.

Thanks ednel. I guessed at the poem and hadn't ciphered it yet. I am thinking I will need a key word for this. Can't wait till I'm finished all the questions, I have been doing them in my sleep.
