    Doc,
Well Hello and waiting to see that your submission will win the first of the coveted Silver Eagles. I am new to THIS hunt in that I received the book as a Christmas present. Have done numerous hunts before and have seen much of what you have perfectly laid out to the group. It would behoove folks to use what they have leaned and start on a different chapter.
I somewhere took a wrong turn in a SW QUAD and will most likely not be the WINNER of chapter One. That, compounded with a hectic work schedule have sent me on to another chapter.
Yes, I am a pharmacist and along with the nickname of RX Jeff, I am know as Dopepeddler or just Peddler (or Doc).
Have enjoyed the site and all the input from everyone and look to see many from Tweleve win Eagles!

Jeff, have you started on Chapter 2 or 3? I can help folks get going on them, but I haven't done a lot of work on either of them yet.

And, as you well know, it takes a LOT of work. LOL.

Did you get to the point in the chapter 1 solution that involved Q 17? THAT was an amazing piece of work.

    Doc,
No I did not get that far due to times constraints between my work and personal time. I have skipped over Chapters 2 and 3 to work on a chapter where I will travel to a destination I want to go to now that I have the tools to solve the keys. Keep plugging away if your submission doesn't win you an eagle as I know from your hidden messages that you are extremely close.

Clueless because we have yet to discover the instructions for key sequence. Has ANYONE found actual instructions that say" to put the keys in order, do ...............?" Or are the "instructions" the vague clues we've gotten so far??

    Don't get discouraged.

If someone has found decoded, specific, instructions for key order placement - Chapter 1 would already have been won

We now have quite a few official clues regarding the Chapter 1 key order from optic cross, invisible ink, website, and facebook. Keep playing with them.

Personally, while I don't have an answer that works yet, I feel much better about some possibilities than a few months ago. I think I am starting to finally understand some of the clues.

The biggest problem I have is that the first 3 keys released match SOOOOO many different things in Chapter 1 its still hard to narrow down the my "options" list. Hopefully key #4 will be released and it will be a "less common" number so we can all get on with this.

Yes, there are what appear to be instructions. Or at least what I interpret as being instructions. The given public clues lead to them.

Unfortunately, they're very cryptic. I think we're going to need more clues to help separate what's important from the noise, particularly in "the middle". We have a good idea about WHAT the instructions are referring to, but not much idea about HOW you proceed once you're there (and some of the WHEREs seem to be pretty darn cool).

While it appears to be theoretically possible to "back into" an answer by combining scores of contextual and correlational hints to construct a complete sequence, this method seems to me to be nearly impossible due to the many-to-many mappings of most of these hints. We've been trying to do this for months and continue to do so, but this isn't working so well.

It really does appear that the only practical way to solve this is to successfully decipher the instructions.

    If they're instructions.

    lol.
