# Thread: Extra clue for chapter one

1. Thank you both very much. Tweleve / twelevers are the best. I don't have time to try this now, but it should be a breeze with those pointers. I wasn't using the spaces...I thought they would be redundant if Xs were the wordbreaks.

This is a great-grandaddy, graduate level, gully-whumper of a clue. Encountering these twisters is the reason I enjoy doing treasure hunts.

It has more ins and outs than the burger joint.

If it seems incomprehensible, it's because one has to have solved the three keys and most of the directions to understand it.

First = last. That clue isn't just giving you the beginning. . . .

Start with something fairly straightforward: There are two blanks that are missing.

In the previous playfair cipher clue on Facebook, there was a 'to' that was missing from the phrase: 'Go back the Golden Eagle....'

I don't know what your threshold might be for deciding if something is a clue or not, but eventually, you might want to consider that the 'blank' in the middle of the Invisible Ink clue, the second part, might be significant.

But, I digress. . .

The placement of the two blanks in the current clue aren't random. There's an equivalence between them that gives you a hint about what's actually missing from the clue.

There is no missing "to" in the clue.

4. I concur, there was no "to" missing from the clue.

I've solved this clue completely. It solves the order of some keys to the puzzle. I won't say how many, as to not spoil it.
