University of Washington where the Alaskan-Yukon-Pacific Exposition was held. Where there was the Great Northern Fir statue was, Pea-nuts were sold, etc. You will find the location by overlaying the old map with the current campus and find the original clock tower. Across from the tower is a bench and you will see a statue.
Wow, love it T -- such juicy specificity. Havent seen you for a while.... hope all is well.

Just for good measure, if its not north of the border, then my next guess is Washington History Museum

actually, I'm making a more complete guess based on my original thinking. What if the chapter questions are part of the final hunt sequence starting in Seattle. A sequence that can only be followed with the final instructions from the author, once a correct map is submitted. Perhaps starting at Pike market, then the space needle, then the Washington museum, through Spokane, then heading north thought the Olympic mountains to BC (British Columbia). On lake ogo pogo (Okanagan) there is three can buoy markers blinking 5 times at 15 second interval. So which one? Lake Evaporation ยป Okanagan Water Supply & Demand Project
I pick the west Kelowna buoy where near is a pike road to take.

Ahh...its fun to speculate. Look forward to any coverage of the final presenting of the first eagle. I hope there is a little bit of a hunt and story to it rather than just handing it over in Seattle

All I gotta say is that Ron had better be driving in a jeep during the event or I'm going to be really, really, really mad.

I hope to see a pirate patch over that eagle eye. That Jeep better have decals too: "cheerokay ... the eagle has been won!" (as a falcon flies out of the sky and snatches the eagle and flies away)

First eagle *has* to be north of the border... the treasure hunt crew lives here in bc I think?? I can't wait to see the video of the presentation. Disappointed that a local from south or north of the border didn't win, but very excited to see how it plays out nonetheless. There is a big window of opportunity in the presentation to get the message for the cause out in a fun way and attract more treasure hunters. If Ron pulls up in a jeep, that would be enough to give me a good chuckle
