You did say that, but then continued to post, so I assumed you weren't being silent anymore

It's really the only online source about this hunt(that I know of)
I am on this forum because it does help me absolutely. That's why everyone is here, lurker or not.
I wouldn't say so ... the forum didn't really helped in anything.
To develop what i am saying: if you were following clues and working on them, it is a fact that the forum was always late in everything, meaning that the forum could only help the lost ones.

The only thing i felt was nice participating at this forum was just to have someone to talk with regarding the hunt.

Whoever won this won because they were better at figuring out all of those clues that the hunt published than the rest of us. I think anything posted here played a minor role.

I enjoy the challenge of the puzzles--the prize is 'bonus'.

Rxjeff brought up a very salient point earlier: Absent the Facebook clues, what were the 'directions' that pointed us towards the places the sequence was located?
I am of the same mindset, Doc (as you can tell by my signature). The Facebook clues helped somewhat, but some of the early clues led you in the right direction.

I would also refrain from discussing the solution until the eagle certificate is in someone's hand. The winner still has to prove to Ron their solution.
The true prize is the hunt itself.

I can only speak for myself, but reading other people's thoughts and ideas provokes more thoughts and ideas.

The more information you know the better off you are.just because we didn't win doesn't mean the forum didn't help.

It just came down to someone putting it all together first.

My wife got me the book as a gift to help stimulate my brain because she knows of my strong family history of alzheimers. And stimulate it has, by both the book and this forum. It's not so much about the prize, but about the hunt itself.
I so much enjoy the input from everyone on here. I also love Doc's theories because I know they will be incorporated into the final Golden Eagle Hunt. I love reading Vincent's comments that I read to myself in a broken english, french-canadian accent and would miss his postings. All this and I do love me some V-8 juice with a hint of lemon and ground peppercorn!
