I think this is the right idea. I had N second for the longest time. I've recently realised if you do what you did again (do it twice), then perhaps it is indeed the start of the sequence=needle. That may sound confusing, but why not try skip 4. Perhaps you skip two, *twice*. It is chapter 4 after all.

2. I must admit that even after loosing 5 pages, I am at a total loss as to where to start. Pretty sure now that "we need to start at the needle " means don't start looking until after that point.
The Valentines Day and twice as lucky clues may point to the number 14. But 14 what?

pretty sure you need to lose your needle thought. To start, skip over, then go back. There is no 14 with the holiday clues...you are reading too much into it (i think). You will have to B(2) twice (2) as lucky. I get the message, but haven't had enough time to sort it out

4. I am indicating "twice as lucky" since a clue from an earlier chapter used the number 7 as a lucky number. Could be page 77, or 14. The Canadian Thanksgiving clue had 2 lines, one of which spoke of the date which was on the 14th and the other line twice as lucky. So there are two fourteens. Funny enough, when you look at "this year's Valentine's Day" there are also two fourteens. The year and the day.
Of course, what he may be saying is that there are two 14's. Both sequences start with 14=N=tsah. Fred knows the answer, it's always the same. Or both sequences are on the 14th line or even the 14th page which just happens to be page 80 where the navajo starts.

Is there still a discussion about using Atbash or not? I honestly see no other way to get the solution without using the atbash.

7. Well after six weeks, I have finally submitted what I believe to be a viable answer to chapter four. The last clue was a huge help. Thank you, Ron Shore.

Good Karma

9. Have rejections gone out this week?

10. So if rejections went out and included submissions thru Sunday March 9th, then possibly a correct answer could be sent in before Friday's clue is released.
Message board is very quiet. Someone close?
