how many key possibilities have we given now? Just 5 right? 5th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 18th, correct?

3. I have taken a fresh look at the clues and have found nothing new.

4. sorry, but it's true...

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

...snore...

BORING!!!

5. Did you know you cannot receive messages on this site if your box is full?
Mills,
Not sure boring is the term I have in mind. More like frustrated and confused that an author cannot make new clues. Sorry, we are fresh out of clues.

6. LOL! Yeah, maybe I'm being a little dramatic. I can't wait for this one to be solved though.

I've been working on the same sequence for some time now. The clues fit, but I can't find a proper sequence that works. Everything is close, but not perfect. Some thoughts:

-ive written down the husband and wife questions and answers in quotes...pages 73-77. Searching becomes easier this way if you know what you are looking for. Judge a man by his questions
-the dichotomy of solving this chapter.. dichotomy by definition means two parts divided into opposites. Two...opposites.
-It starts with "no one's sure." Think about it. "every one" counts.
-the kryptos clue also gave us the partner flicker, so this should help if you don't believe it yet.
-if you are on board with that, then shortly into page 74, we discOVER something, and then later on we uncOVER something. To start, skip OVER and then go BACK. The husband is told to put something BACK when he found it.
-"this" happens five times. The husband question and wife's answer end with the same word exactly five times.
-i've still bee working with skip sequence, with "the evens"
-the letters that went on the hunt..not quite sure yet, but leaning heavily towards page 74,75 for those. I think I know where to look..it's partly obvious if you think about it...
-substitution cipher. I'm not going to talk about which navajo we may have to use just yet, but some letter analysis might help. I'll lean towards the easy ones, since its not that hard.
-not sure how to use ALL the letters yet? a couple will be substitutions, but some letters just don't appear in my above method.
-the answer to the well kept secret start with "well, well". There is a way to be twice as lucky, which I believe to be one of the letters that went on hunt of their own.

8. Keep it simple. This is why it is taking so long to solve this chapter.

Impressive! Great works!
I guess I could share with you one of my observations.
I believe I found the "mechanism" of how the markers appear. Well, but as always, don't believe me. The cops didn't believe me either.
I reviewed chapter 3 and I saw on page 56 it said the gold nuggets are everywhere, sometimes it's on the ground, sometimes it's in the stream, and sometimes it's in the land. But chapter 4 it said the gold nuggets was found in an old pouch.
Friday would be the best day to win chapter 4. Day, month, & year are ended with 4.
Good luck everyone!

10. The solutions for the previous chapters are simple and straight-forward. Ch4 should be no different. The clues direct you to where the solution is; just re-examine them with a new perspective. The clue from the book, "You need to start at the needle" is one of the most important ones.
