I am stumped so far on this clue. Not much talk going on; I assume everyone is working on the clue.

Did not know it was Canadian Thanksgiving weekend either. Do Canadians eat turkey or bacon for Thanksgiving?

Canadian thanksgiving was always one of my favorite times of the year living up there (I was in the Toronto and Ottawa areas for much of my youth). The Kitchener/Waterloo Oktoberfest (this weekend) was always a good time at college... spent many a thanksgiving with a bit of a hangover. So indeed, happy thanksgiving to all you other Canadians out there.

As for C4, what an interesting chapter... I have such a large amount of material related to, linked to, and correlated to C4, its characters and its locations that it's becoming very hard to tell what is relevant for the C4 solution and what isn't. There also appears to be a future chapter (or perhaps golden eagle sequence) which uses C4 for its own purposes (specifically, I see what I think is at least one sequence not resident to C4), which helps to explain why omega and other key symbols and relationships appear in areas of the chapter not relevant to the FB clues. The entire red-herring layer on this hunt remains a mystery to me, which is a bit of a problem.

Have thought I was close on C4 for a while now, and this week's clues all but verify that, but given all of the false (or, to be fair, imagined?) validators that I've found, it's impossible to know if I'm even remotely on the right track.

In any case, this book continues to hold my attention, three years into it. The most amazing thing is that I continue to find new stuff every time I turn to it. New connections, new thoughts on the gold eagle, new bits and pieces of future chapter solutions. There are hints, visual clues, echoing relationships, things said and done in the past helping the future, and things said and done in the future helping the past. There are hidden parts of the book, hidden things to find and discover, and I suspect there are many I haven't yet found.

It's all an immensely complex and fascinating work of "treasure hunting art". I guess it is possible after all to appreciate a work of art even if you don't really understand it. When Ron says it took years to develop, I don't doubt it... the number of connections and relationships is staggering. I just wish I could start to apply some of the hundreds of relationships to actual chapter solutions.

So a tip of the cap (Charlie Miller) to Ron for a fascinating hunt, and a personal hope that none of you solve C4 before I do
