Can someone please tell me if anything was found in the text of chapter 3 that would clue you to get the last 10 keys from the end of the story in reverse.

Just as I thought. They cannot be solved without Facebook clues.

Back to chapter 4. The picture shows a dark figure on the ground in front of the mountain. Any thoughts?

Can you name ONE thing -- even in retrospect -- in the Chapter 2 or chapter 3 pictures that actually led in any way to the solution?

    C2:

How is the box the falcon is sitting on used?
How are the fact it has 6 claws used?
What about the fact it is looking left?
Or that it has a bell on its foot?
Or that its eye is a six sided gem?

    C3:

Charlie is pointing to the pan. How does that help us?
There's a pick in the background that looks like an upside-down "T". "T" is neither upside down nor caesared at an end of a sequence. Is this used?
What's with the bull in the rocks?
And how does the dog in the rocks help (turn the page upside down)?
And how does the shore looking like the number "3" help?
And how does the pan that looks like a "C" when you rotate the page help? Water is pouring from the C, indicating that C (or C-shifted) should have been the first letter. But it wasnt?
And what about that rock that looks a little bit like a frog to the right of Charlie?
What about the picture of a woman's face in the water, that the pan is pouring onto? How the heck is that relevant?

And if connections can't even be made in retrospect, what's the point of even looking at the C4 image, let alone trying to find clues in it?

I wondered if the Falcon was a clue in itself. They are birds noted for their (vertical) dives to catch their prey.

At this point, I have not noticed anything concrete as far as the pictures are concerned in relation to the solutions. Another thing to think about is the fact that once again Q is the last letter in the solution. I think this may be a common occurance. Even though the final number was 14, it is 17 - 3. I am curious though, I would like to know how many people were able to find the first set of 10 for chapter 3?

Well the cane in chapter one was mentioned as looking like a number 7 which was the beginning of the second sequence and there were two number 53's in the picture for chapter 3 which was the starting point. Im sure you could have found a 32 somewhere on the falcon for chapter 2. It is my belief that the pictures hold some clue to the solutions.

I'll take a long shot and say that this time (CH4) Q will be a lot earlier due to "quently put it, Hellís Backyard."

    Time will tell LOL

Yes, Lady Lobster and I actually determined stick = 7 = omega key a year or two before the C1 solution was announced. Of course, we assumed that meant that the omega key (20th key) = 7, and so submitted approximatel 150 C1 solutions ending with the number 7. And so even by correctly identifying the clue in the picture and determining that it was the "omega key", we were led astray by some arbitrary and completely misleading definition of "key" (Lady Lobster hasn't touched the hunt since that, I might add...)

I actually agree with you -- it is my belief that Ron (or whoever at FTII made the chapter solutions up) certainly intends for there to be clues in the pictures, but the clues are so incredibly vague (falcon = read down a column? really??) and, as seen above -- in some cases ultimately misleading even if you do find other evidence and put 2 and 2 together, that looking at them isn't worth your time.
