# Thread: CHAPTER 4 - discussion and clues

1. If you think the clue represents a starting point like 2-14, you may be going down a wrong path. He would not make it that simple. Good discussion, though.

2. ## Clue

The clue definitely has nothing to do with 2-14. Ron has basically said so on his facebook page.

4. This years fell on a Friday and the day and year were the same if you take out the zero in the year:214214.

I'm still hanging on with my beginning, end and "hole", something missing theory. There are five holes. Some have been discussed already, some have not. Here's one more of them:

but...
but... his body was discovered out here.

Something is missing. The sentence never finished so you don't know what he was going to finish with. Could have been a question? Could have been more of the sequence, but it's missing. This happens five times. The wife probably chose the rest when this happens is my hunch. Judge a man by his questions... Perhaps the wife by her answers. However, look closer.

buT... HIS body was discovered out here.

And do I need to also mention the oVeR as well? I do indeed think we skip oVeR, contrary to what has been mentioned and discussed. People were just looking at the wrong over. By the way, this happens after the clue from the Kryptos. Also, note the page number and the chapter we are solving, and the other clues. I'm practically certain this is on the right track, so I'll stop there and leave some to the imagination. This is not the beginning or end of either alpha or omega. I think it's a piece though, I'm just leaving that information out for now.

This latest valentines clue I have not fully thought through. The word THIS happens again. My immediate reaction was this helps place the letter "V" which is problematic in my own solution. I don't think the husband piece contains this letter. However, the wife does, and I'm 99% certain where.

10. Gizmo,
Interesting insight. I would ask that you re-read the clue regarding what happens five times.
