They won chapter 3. Heather and Ben.
They won chapter 3. Heather and Ben.
Hi there, this is Heather Cunningham (winner of Chapter 3). For the record: HEATHER won chapter 3Ben is my husband. We did share theories and bounce ideas off of each other, but actually competed against each other for bragging rights. "Heather and Ben" did not win. Just one of us gets to brag about a win so far!
Nope. No coincidence. Chris is my husband's younger brother. We actually told him about the book.Hmmm, any relation to the Chapter 3 winner I wonder? Same surname and both from Toronto.
Coincidence?(We both live near Toronto, but actually about an hour and a half drive apart. Toronto is just the nearest large city to each of us.)
Congrats to Chris! I can't wait to watch his eagle journey! I know mine was a lot of fun.
Please say well done to Chris for me Heather (guess he's not part of any of these forums?) and I hope he has as wonderful a time on his Eagle day as I did, it's a real treat and privilege to do the 'one day' hunt, as you know yourself!
Yes, it is very important to be clear about who won hunts. I worked on a Scottish hunt with my brother, but when I rang him to tell him my theory for the correct solution he was really dismissive and said it absolutely couldn't be what I was saying. So when it turned out I was 100% correct and had won, I was quick to point out that the victory was mine. Though.. on reflection... he had made one major breakthrough earlier on in the thinking process, I suppose, without which I'm not sure I would have got there.... Damn! LOL.
Curiosity is killing me. Post your best guess...
The first or last key must be 5. The start of omega is probably 2.
Will do! As far as I know he doesn't have an account here. I don't think he even has a Facebook account!
That is exactly how it is with us! I know I wouldn't have won if we hadn't discussed some of our ideas, BUT... one correct idea doesn't always equal a final solution. He took a very wrong path, and I chose the right one lol. It isn't often that I get bragging rights over him, so I don't want to pass this opportunity up! He decided to come along to LA because I was still nursing my son and couldn't leave him at home. It would have been a very challenging hunt trying to solve clues, carry a baby, carry a diaper bag, carry a car seat, change diapers, do feedings, etc, etc AND carry the eagle! Also, I wasn't so keen on flying to another country alone to meet a guy that I didn't know and be taken around a city I am unfamiliar with. I may be a treasure hunter online, but I am a chicken in real life!Yes, it is very important to be clear about who won hunts. LOL.Ron is a very nice guy though (as were Roger, Gisela, and all of the others involved.) I was still glad to have Ben along though.

Alpha started with "Nations" and a minus 5/ plus 5 caesar shift.
First 5 keys for alpha IFONJ
If that was the case, using your logic, it would then be?
I don't know....just doesn't seem right to me. Only one is missing. I guess we will find out soon.Code:09-06-15-14-10-19-02-03-08-20 13-11-04-18-12-01-16-07-17-05
My most recent attempts after giving up on the poem started with
"Jon But" -5,+5,...
05-20-09-07-16
Either that or maybe it just literally starts with "Jean Lafitte"
05-10-19-07-
My guess is that the solution will be two completely random sets of numbers that don't relate to anything.
