I used to think that, but upon reverse engineering of the previous solutions, there exists codes on what to look for within the chapter questions and sudokus. There is a reason for the questions at the end of each chapter, why there are 20 of them and especially why some have no link at all to the storyline.
I just hope that Ron is able to keep this going. A potential dive with Mel Fisher's family off the coast of Miami would be one hell of a trip. Oh, and you do get a silver thing too.

Am looking forward to the next chapter's clues. While I can't say I understand much of this hunt (nor am I entirely convinced that there is a whole lot that CAN be understood!), but I do enjoy having things to think about.

Solution was in the questions again. I guess when we see "riddle me this..." Thère is only one place to look. Never imagined two chapters in a row in the questions. I was certain it would be in the poem.

And so, once again, the winner relied entirely on FB clues and the chapter text had NOTHING to do with anything, other than it was Chapter 5. And, once again, the winner had no real confirmation that the answer he submitted was correct - no internal self-confirming solution. And, once again it's a series of entirely random letters/numbers picked for no apparent reason relating to any neat theory.

Let the games begin to see who comes up with the most clever after the fact ways to claim that solution has deep underlying meaning that they see clearly now and can relate back to the previous chapters.

Ok, I'll bite and go first.
If you are looking for a "tap", look on the other side. The tap questions is C6 and C4 are Q12 and Q3.

I am still trying to find where in the story you are given directions to search for the solution in the questions. Only thing we had to go on was the facebook clue of "riddle me this and riddle me that."
I can see where Morrigan is coming from. So far, there is absolutely no way to figure it out without clues. We are totally at the mercy of the author.

That is a pretty slick clue. Look for tap questions on either side of chapter 5. However, it is a clue. I want someone to show me where you can derive a solution from the storyline.

Hmmm, another interesting one I don't quite get yet, or could be just noise.

If you read the poem, the word "page" occurs on line 1,3, and 7 of the poem. (Spencer, Aristotle, and Shelley)
Edgar Allan Poe Society of Baltimore - Works - Poems - Enigma [On Shakespeare] (Text-02).

The alpha and omega for C1 were on pages 1,7. Alpha for C5 was Q3. Page three has some interesting tidbits, but how would you know to go look there without help?

The only thing I can think of directly from the Story itself that resembles anything is Champ and Lafitte (for 3 and 12). But why wouldn't you use Jon Hodges, Jim Jr, or Joanna Campbell? There is hints of 10 through J all over the chapter (I guess this was the difference). I suppose H from Hodges was the second key. Seems like too much of a stretch. Makes about as much sense as using Charles Proctor from page 3.

For omega, I guess you had to skip OVER and go back to make this solution FLY? That's facebook clues again though.

I would like to give a huge congrats to the winner of this chapter!!! Very well done and very well deserved! Same goes for the previous chapter winners too!

I was very surprised to see somebody solve this in the midst of the summer break from clues... pleasantly surprised!!!

I'll be honest here in saying that this hunt is definitely not for me... but I do understand how exciting it can be for people. This hunt is VERY well done, just not MY cup of tea.

Gizmo, your interpretation of the "looking for a tap" clue is awesome!!!

Morrigan, I totally understand your frustrations... I think you're looking for what I am looking for, and sorry, but we're not going to find it with TWGTH.

Rx-Jeff, man I hope you nail one of these chapters and get your eagle hunt!!! Though I think you would probably be soooo excited about the actual "hunt" to retrieve the eagle that you would pass out!!! Maybe that's my chance to get an eagle... come watch you find your eagle one day and when you pass out from the excitement I can swoop in and snatch it!!!

Ron, I know you check in here from time to time and I would like to tell you how I feel about this hunt from the bottom of my heart... It's awesome from a broad perspective, however, I think you need to get back to what you did best at the beginning... keeping people interested and intrigued by using all sorts of different and exciting clues... youtube clues, sponsor website clues, etc.

    Lastly, to Ron and ALL...

I think instead of looking for a buyer for the golden eagle or a celebrity to promote the hunt, we should be thinking of ways to make this hunt go viral on social media.

    Good night and god bless!

    Jay a.k.a mills

First, thanks Mills for your nice input. It was exciting in the beginning. The problem is that every profitable treasure hunt or puzzle these days is internet driven. Ron will never sell enough books unless there is something on the internet tied with the book. And I don't see that happening. Yes, the thrill of the hunt for that eagle would probably be more exciting than holding it in my hand. Chapter 6 in Miami and with the possibility of ocean diving for clues would be awesome. It is about the Atocha and Mel Fisher so it must go on. His family donated the beautiful emerald on the perch if the Maltese Golden Eagle. That eagle could easily be sold at Sotheby's with a reserve bid. Not sure why Ron has not tried that. He could possibly get more than the six million now because precious metals will skyrocket in price when the stock market begins a sell off. And it will soon. Two oil rich sheiks in a bidding war. What does he have to lose?
