There is at least two eagles left, so no need to worry just yet. Back to the topic at hand.

In chapter 5, we were given a Sudoku clue. What would this mean though, and how would it be inferred from the book itself without additional facebook clues? Look at the first column and last row of the empty Sudoku on page 103. First, the page number has two important numbers 10 (the total delta), and 3 (the first question to use). The sequences of those empty Sudoku's are (row 9) 3,2,7,9,4 and (column 1) 4,7,1,5,9,3. In chapter 5, the cryptex question is Q20. However, perhaps C4Q20 actually unlocks the box for us.

C4Q20 What was the entrance code to unlock the doxor to give accesxs to the spec ial col lection seriesx -3794
The first column actually gives us the first key of the sequence of 15. If you don't believe it, it actually starts on Column(1)Row(5)=15.

I'm not certain on row9, but I think the leftover 2 help identify the last key of the puzzle as C5Q2. Enigma=E.

Of course, fromt he Sudoku, we were actually given "I" as being the perfect square number that will help us on our way (the encrypted start to omega).

Did we have a clue in C4 or C5 related to circles / diameters / PI? I'm pretty sure we had a PI clue, but can't find it anywhere. Am playing around with a future chapter.

From Chapter 5:
Quote:

C5Q4: The KGC was a secret organization set up to annex Mexico. What do the letters stand for? knights of the golden circle
Quote:

MOASI TSAH NE-AHS-JAH TKIN BESH-DO-TLIZ AH-NAH TLA-GIN AH-NAH CHA = CNOIZECEH = digits of PI
Facbook clue for C5:
Quote:

You must apply ”Yin and Yang” to come up with the solution. The end is getting close.
My personal favourites come from C3 and C4 though combined.

C3Q10- How many full moons are there in a month containing a blue moon? - 2

C3Q15 - In 1996 it was reported that the world's largest blue sapphire was up for auction and was expected to sell for many millions of dollars. Approximately how many carats did the stone weight?- 90000

Ahh yeah that's the one I was looking for. It's a hint for a future chapter I think. Maybe.

I found an even better one :)

Pi Wordplay -- from Wolfram MathWorld
Poe, E.: Near A Raven

Quote:

The following stanzas are the first part of a poem written by M. Keith based on Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven." The entire poem gives 740 digits; the fragment below gives only the first 80 (Blatner 1997, p. 113). Words with ten letters represent the digit 0, and those with 11 or more digits are taken to represent two digits.
Quote:

Poe, E.
Near a Raven

Midnights so dreary, tired and weary.
Silently pondering volumes extolling all by-now obsolete lore.
During my rather long nap - the weirdest tap!
An ominous vibrating sound disturbing my chamber's antedoor.
"This", I whispered quietly, "I ignore".

Perfectly, the intellect remembers: the ghostly fires, a glittering ember.
Inflamed by lightning's outbursts, windows cast penumbras upon this floor.
Sorrowful, as one mistreated, unhappy thoughts I heeded:
That inimitable lesson in elegance - Lenore -
Is delighting, exciting...nevermore.
Basically, the number of letters of each word represent a digit. It starts with "Poe E Near" = 3.14...

Perhaps this is what we were supposed to use for C4 without facebook clues ;)

Well, that clue made no sense in C4. Yes, code talker was omega, but the relationship between PI and C4.omega just doesn't seem to exist.

So what if the relationship is instead one between talking and pi?

I think the clue meant that the first alpha number was 3, and the first omega number was 14.

Nice catch! I think it goes even further than that though...look again:

Code:

```CHATBLESMI NJDFGOKQRP 03-08-01-20-02-12-05-19-13-09 14-10-04-06-07-15-11-17-18-16```
The beginning is equal to the end.... upside down, or backwards. Reminds me of the alpha=omega graphic that was given as clue for chapter 1.
Perhaps. How would you ever get that pre-solution though?
Why not 3 as first key,1 as 11th ?
Or use Q3 as alpha, Q14 as omega?
Or use Q3 as alpha, Q1 as omega?
Or Key 1 is 3, Key 2 is 14...
Or Key 1 is 3, Key 2 is 1, Key 3 is 4...
etc etc...
What is the "clever relationship" which maps the numbers to something usable?
