so..ok..say i've pinpointed the location of one of SQ's national treasures; but the catch is gas+food will cost me upwards $300-400. think its a bad idea to go through with the plan? what items havent been delivered?

if it's worth big bucks...can't you like..sue..or something?

According to the rules, "Sponsor will release the amulet to the finder after all publicity on this promotion has ended and entirely at the Sponsors discretion."

So that means that you can't complain if it takes years and years to get the prize. How patient are you?

Terestai, therein lies the rub. IF it was worth big bucks, I suppose you could sue and get a portion of what is due you. But what if it is NOT worth big bucks? Can't sue for junk, or your 5 bucks back.

So, how do you decide if it is worth the risk, given all of the doubts being discussed, to go after a coin to which you know the location? How do you weigh the risk between being a fool and a sucker, with winning a prize of unknown true value? This is my question.

ixnay there Rusty or should you be the backwards one sitting and waiting whilst someone has grabded the coins and sits idol, waiting for SQ to verify they are gone; or still there? Would 30 days then begin, or would they aready be counting down without tweleve knowing?

here's hoping to check the sq site and find some amaizing about current hunts, prizes and general reassurance. Wishful think HAS to work someday...right?

I personally say, if you know the location, try to minimize the costs and if it still comes out to 300-400$, it depends on how you look at the place you have to travel. If it were me and it was in a state/area I hadn't been to, I'd pack an overnight bag, find a hotel, and make a nice weekend of it. If not, maybe I'd try to network, I'm sure that you may be able to find a few honest individuals in different locations that may be willing to scout it out for little to nothing. I'm in the Albany, NY area, I'd be happy to scout out the nearby area for gas money.

    Good luck.

That remark was meant for you to keep us out of any theories you were cooking up linking us to SQ. We had no connections to SQ before the Guardian's Amulet was solved, and as you well know, we have no connections after the fact, either.

I don't remember ever linking you to the SQ scam. Did I say that? It is my belief that you are one of ScrollQuest's biggest victims.
