As far as I'm concerned, the more important thing is that if people chargeback their payments, the bank will go after Jason for the money. If he doesn't pay it back to the bank, they'll trash his credit rating, which would gratifying.

It is also against the law to state that proceeds wil be donated to a charity or the like. Perhaps Red Cross should be questioned as well.

    You are settling for bupkis?!

You should at least get your lump of silver (not 30 pieces I hope).

I'd being suing ScrollQuest and Jason personally for $50,000. Not the crappy amulet, but the value they ascribed to it. I'd hound Jason for the rest of his life, garnishing wages, seizing property, etc... until I had my money.

    What a lowlife.

    Holli -

Bad behavior deserves punishment. You gals are the only ones who are owed enough to make some sort of legal action worthwhile.

I know where Jason is and I'm contacting the buyers in his fraudulent PlayStation auction and letting them know exactly who he is and where he is. That's all I can really do.

I agree with mdredmond. Bad behavior does deserve punishment. Jason has ripped off many of us here at Tweleve. People have not received prizes, books, scrolls, etc...The only way to keep him from ripping off more people is to do what you can to report him to the authorities. If he gets off punishment-free, he will probably go on scamming people for who knows how long!

I have said this before and I will say it again, we Twelevers should band together. Any one who is owed anything should contact the BBB, the FTC, Pirates Magazine, and any other place that we can think of.

Well according to newbies and Evan, S.Q. is always going to some Con or another. Jason did not attend the last one. Evan did. Now it seems that Evan is waiting to hear back from the U.S.P.S. about full time contracting work. Is he out of the picture? Who knows. But Steve Bennet will be attending some Con in Feb. If we alert the previous Cons that S.Q. attended then perhaps we can thwart future newbie rip offs.
If you read the fine print on the back of the scrolls S.Q. tried to prevent class action suits. Whether or not this method is legal I don't know, but Gagas, I urge you to not take this lying down or be too nice. You were used and that is WRONG. You have a voice, and are able to contact all past press about not receiving your prize. I implore you to think about what truly has happened and what will continue to happen if you don't speak up...
Once again, call Pirates mag. and the F.T.C.. Lafitte
