You got me. How did you search the WHOLE book on Amazon ? I've only been able to view selected pages from any "Search Inside" sampling before.

I never knew that you could do that on Amazon.com either, but I just tried it and it worked. When you touch the book with your cursor, a search window appears that allows you to search any word or phrase that you choose.

I finally checked out Amazon.com for the book, and it is terrific! One anomaly is that the text is not 100% correct. I did a search for Pook and the first hit was:

    1. on Page 16:
"... Chapter 1 d Zac end Pooh achariah and Pook had walked slowly through the Great Forest for most of the day, but now, as they climbed a small ridge ..."

What the heck is d end Pooh?

It seems that the beginning of each chapter has extra letters and/or numbers.

I'm not sure this is searching the whole book. I think it may be searching just a few sample pages???? I did a search on spriggans and it said "no mention of spriggans in the hard cover edition." Am I doing something wrong? Spriggans are mentioned in my hard cover edition.

The entire book has been scanned in. You can actually read it online -- all the illustrations are there, everything. A little blurry from transposition, but readable nonetheless.

Look at the top, it says "Search this book." I used Pook. Good luck!

    Osmaster,
I thought you got the message that it isn't cool to post your Amazon link here, when Des changed it to Alcoholics Anonymous in April. Post your link on your own site, and let Tweleve get credit for Amazon sales from this site! Sheesh!

    Everyone else,
If you plan to buy *anything* from Amazon, please show some respect and gratitude to our gracious hosts here, by making sure that 'tweleveforum' is in the url, and *not* 'atreasustrove', which is Osmaster's Amazon member name.

Well, I dunno about Osmaster,,,H4T,,,,but I sure got the message.

Now, how about taking it one step further,,,,,,just what IS the link to use to access Amazon ,,,, cause yes, I do have an account there,,, and I bought ATT and PCB both thru Amazon. I HOPE I used the right info so that Tweleve was supported,,,,I'd be kickin' myself if I didn't. And heaven knows I'm due for another copy !! Gave the first one to my 14yo grandson...and looks like I'm going to be rippin' out 37-38 pretty soon out of this one and treating it with everything from fingernail polish to lemon juice to Oxy Clean to try and see Chris's subpoem in the border which just may be cut off in the next printing so better get it now while it's hot.
