Just a question. I am signed onto Q4T and Tweleve. The Tweleve site has me spoiled. The format is very easy! Q4T is discombobulated and I have made an attempt

How fitting that I be the first to reply Lafitte.
In a nutshell....No. We are not being loyal to BP. I guess the loyality on my part is to Q4T and some of the moderators over there. (Mark Parry primarily). I have been interested in Armchair Treasure Hunting for quite some time and the main {possibly only real message board} dealing w/ this subject extensively was Q4T. I started this thread on Q4T years ago while trying to generate interest in my favorite hunt of all time. Looks like it did the trick. The threads on Q4T started long before 12 kicked off beginning w/ primarily ATT. Yes, the boards there are a little harder to navigate than these wonderful 12 boards but that is where the interest was started. By no means is it a "choose sides" kind of thing. It is just that most of the old timers began on Q4T and there is soooooooooooo much more information there. So, in another nutshell...Enjoy both boards and good luck catching up  8)

for my 2 cents worth, I have been involved with the secret for over 20 years. i stumbled upon the q4t website several years ago and have worked to solve the puzzles there.
IMHO, there is just so much data over there that to abandon it and start over here is just not the way to go. sure we can discuss things here, but really, the value is over on q4t. wilhouse

I understand. It just seems to me that Tweleve is more active. There is a ton of info on Q4T but it is not categorized in a way that would inspire new hunters. Perhaps they can at least group the verses together and the images together. Just simple organizing would be easier on the eyes.
Thanks for replying and I'll see you there, Lafitte |

Q4T does have a forum dedicated to each verse and image. The problem is that people (and I'm guilty of this too) keep creating new topics, so that fact isn't immediately obvious. Of course, tweleve is guilty of this too. Some hunts have hundreds of topics with just 1 or a few messages in them.

What I meant was I wish Q4T had their verses and images organized like Tweleve does. That way new posts won't bump anyone up, but will be something to check on and add to. I've already decided that if we find the N.O. casque I would give it back to Byron's wife if she so desires. Both forums are used by people I respect and am happy to work with. lafitte

I do both...or shall I say ALL..and with my new browser I can do them virtually at the same time. Now, throw in a google browser open, my pdf's, a word doc to take notes, a crypt helper or five, a chat, and lets not forget a map site and a person can spend the whole time bouncing back and forth and not even focus on a thing. Works for me.
