Brand new & wondering

Hello All!

Team Meaner Simikkles is branching out after being discouraged by DAR, & thought this seemed really interesting. We randomly picked an illustration & got the one that allegedly is Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We understood most of it, but the jewel shown looks like an Aquamarine or Blue Topaz to us, NOT an Amythest. I read somewhere that the Aquamarine has been claimed. Info please????

I had the same issue with the color of this supposed amethyst, but it really IS an amethyst, not an aquamarine. That jewel was found, in Cleveland (image 4).

Apparently there are blue amethysts. I have never seen one, as many as I've seen in my life (a lot!), but others on the Q4T forum say they have seen them. I did look them up, and yes, they exist.

What do you mean when you say you "understood" most of it?

I'm just sticking stuff fast as I can on another freeweb site, the page currently hidden. Once I can actually figure out how to get the link just working, I will set the page on public view let you guys know
