    Lightbulb Attempted Dig Locations

    Greetings

I am posting a request for users in this forum to share their attempted dig locations.
I want to compile a list of spots that have actually been dug up in an attempt to find these elusive pots.
So please share and include depth and a map if possible. This may help in areas like Roanoke, St Augustine where digging is very limited.

    thank you

Rook, I dont know if I am willing to post locations for these two sites because, well, it is essentially illegal to dig inside either of these areas - in general. There are ways around things and permission based digs but anything outside of that are not for public knowledge. I have assertained that St. Augustine was not an official archeological dig site within the walls of the park, back in the secret days but it certainly is now. and The Dark Forrest is NPS with a few exceptions that still have there hurdles.

I think it is safe to say that if it has been discussed on the open forum here or at Q4T for either of those sites, it has been dug at by someone, and maybe multiple someones. And that is all I can say about that. It those places not discussed. Ah.

Rookhunter, have you gotten any digs in over the last year? Anyone? I have dug 3 locations and gained valuable knowledge from each. The adventure continues.

I've done one dig. I learned of 7 others relating to 5 sites, none of them relating to FOY or any members here at tweleve. I too have gained considerable knowledge.

Heading to Milwaukee today and hoping to pinpoint a dig location. We'll let you know if we actually find a spot to get permission from the county to actually dig.
