    Default Image 6

My posts are not getting processed at Q4T so I just going to work here instead.

Just to recap we have in the image:

Stone: Sapphire (3rd in the Lotj ordered list)
    Flower: Aster
Clock #: 9 (the number of Asters)
Coords: 28, 83 or 82, 83 or some combo of (suggests the West (gulf) coast)
Old World Origin: Spain (Iberia) (Hadas, Duende)
Numbered 10 in the passage from the old world to the new world.

    Book quotes:
"The Hadas of Iberia: Sapphire, shy as a wild field flower." - Lotj
(The Aster is a wild field flower)

"Southern Shores, where Iberian Hadas were greeted by the Timuca and Calusa." pg. 22 (Native American tribes)
(The Timuca were a N. FL tribe and the Calusa a SW FL tribe. There territories share a boarder at the Tampa area. The Calusa territory was not on the East Coast and didn't go as far North as St. Augustine.

In May of 1513 Ponce de Leon encountered the Calusa while exploring the Gulf coast near Charlotte harbor at Mound Key. After being attacked by the natives he fled back to Cuba where he died from his wounds.

"For slow centuries, the exotic Dracs and Fadas from the Riviera had sported and dozed on the beach of New found Florida. Perhaps the metal clashing landfall of the Conquistadors took them by surprise, an they fled with out taking time to disenchant their Fountain of Youth..." pg 30

"Forsaking the suntanned Riviera, water Dracs, playful-as-porpoises, and the languid, amorous Fadas found contentment upon the hot southern shores of the New World, amidst pink, long-legged birds and high, swaying palms."
(If the reference to pink legged birds are Flamingos, than Busch Gardens is the only place in Florida where you'll probably find them. Busch Gardens is in Tampa area.)
"The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those
who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn,
    unlearn, and relearn."

Thanks for the post. BG is not the only place by far.

Jungle Island History | Parrot Jungle | Miami Zoo Park (worked at the original for a few years...plenty of "treasure" there)

In my opinion, Fountain of Youth park is/was undeniably where a casque is located.

Can you elaborate more on this? I haven't read or come across anything that sounds correct to link FOY or the written in water verse to this image. What has you so convinced, if I might ask?

I still feel strongly that the "written in water" line is being used for two main purposes: 1) it draws attention to John Keats epitaph (English Poet / Acrostic), and 2) it translates trickily into "message in waves" or some form of transmission device. I believe the radio beacon of the Cattle Point Lighthouse at San Juan Island is a great fit. It's purpose is for guiding ships in dense fog at night or "total darkness" when a light beacon type lighthouse would not be visible.
