    Default Internatiomal hunters

I have been looking around and so far have found no comments from our international friends regarding the status of this hunt. Has anyone found forums in other countries that have discussions regarding their take on the shut down of this hunt? I'm just curious to see what others have to say about all of this or if there has been any press coverage anywhere else.

There are some international members on the Quest4Treasure forum, but aside from acknowledging that the hunt is probably over, there has been absolutely no comment.

    I don't think they care.
And I'm with them on that one.

Thanks Shecrab, I know your frustration has been apparent for far longer than this latest fiasco. Since I only dabbled due to my job I haven't invested as much brain power as you. But I too am disgusted...

I would still be working on this, despite not even wanting to own one of the ugly rings (I just didn't like them!) BUT...without any confirmation about any official anything from Stadther, I won't bother.

I think it's reprehensible that he didn't bother to let participants know anything and has been so uninvolved. He surely knows how "adoring" most of his fans are--and to my knowledge, there ought to be no legal reason whatsoever that the hunt could not be discussed--either on-line or privately by him. A bankruptcy is not a criminal procedure, it's a civil matter, and a public one at that. It's a financial matter. He doesn't have to discuss the company's financial affairs to discuss the hunt itself.

There were a lot of things he might have done to reassure the trovers. He didn't. He acted like there was some high-level security surrounding this matter, which is patently ridiculous. That's what really bothers me.

Oh, well---enough ranting. It's over. That much (or Mucha? LOL..) is clear.

    It's not a place, it's a yearning. It's not a race, it's a journey.

Normally I might suspect that a comment like the one CK made was “sour grapes” but I have a pretty good memory and can attest to the fact that long before the bankruptcy news, she was NOT a fan the Basha design. As far as the rest of her post, I feel her frustration like the rest of you do.

That being said, I continue to hope that Mike may have reasons beyond what seems logical for remaining silent. Maybe it is all part of the hunt somehow. The book cover itself may hold secrets outside of the realm that we’ve been searching. Sotad and Att are drastically different in the ways they are presented.

Att: A Fairy Tale about Real Treasure for Parents and Children of all Ages.

    Sotad: A fantasy for everyone.

The first book was a fairy tale with real treasure while the sequel is a fantasy for everyone. Could that be our alchemist's secret? There seems to be no logical reason to remain silent unless the silence is part of creating this whole fantasy. Remember not all fantasies are fun, some are nightmares.

One person brought up the possibility that we may be going through an eclipse right now. We could be experiencing this hunt on a three dimensional level. We already know that Mike enjoys deviating from what we believe to be the rules. It was evident in the first hunt with the addition of tokens 13 and 14 that we know of. The word fantasy was certainly chosen carefully by Mike for a reason. What I am not certain of, is how he is bringing his fantasy to life.

Perhaps I am just living in my own fantasy but I still think we will look back on this with amazement when all is said and done. Maybe we are witnessing something so obscure that it will revolutionize the world of treasure hunts and fantasies. You’ve got to admit, if this is all part of the plan it would launch this hunt to legendary status.

Remember what George Michael sang two decades ago: Gotta have faith.
