Default DAR According to Mister_Gizmo Part 5

Part 5: 8 Dot Braille, and Combination Symbols

In part 5, I showed an illustration of all of the symbols that appeared to be Braille. In the upper left side of this illustration, there are 10 symbols that looked like Braille, but had 8 positions instead of six. Apparently there are discussions about expanding Braille to 8 dots instead of the usual 6 due to the limited number of combination's of dots in the 6 dot system. The following illustration, shows the two numbering systems for 8 dot Braille that have been discussed. I'm not going to pretend to know anything about how these discussions are going, but instead, what interests me, is a numbering system that's relevant to the solution of DAR. Of the two numbering systems shown, the "Old" style fits the bill.

There are exactly 10 of these symbols distributed throughout the HCB, so in my way of thinking, these would have to represent the numbers 0 thru 9, in some way. This is possible using the "Old" numbering system, but not the other. The symbols can be flipped horizontally, vertically, or both.

The last illustration in this post, is about combination symbols. Combination symbols contain elements of more than one symbol numbering system, but most are not that complicated to figure out. Common sense will tell you what they mean.

The last illustration in my post is wrong, please disregard. It should look like this.
