i made a comment to a 2nd grade teacher, about how the kids learn
the alpha and put it together and learn to read, she said it is
a simple process, first they learn the symbol and in the process the
sound of the symbol, then how to put other symbol/sounds 2 together,
i was looking at the book again, and thought about, what MS had said
about zac being a clue, and paraphrasing, the symbols swirled and coalesced
and zac could read the symbols like a children's book
swirl to me, means go round in a circle, coalesced is come together
so come together in a circle, all those circles with moons and suns
in them in the bos seem to fit that idea, and if those circle/symbols
are to be read, morse seems the way to read them, now to the problem
which to use and which to ignore, ive tried a few combos and got nothing
a lot of jumbled letters, that wouldnt even anagram, i just dont know
the combination, here is a jpg of bos pg 16 of the circle symbols,by line
does anyone want to work on this idea,i use to have all the circle symbols
broke down into groups, like the filled dot and the open dot has an opposite
IIRC all of them are like that, except 2 that had no opposite,i dont have
that file now it was on an old lap, that had died, i had posted it on the
old dar forum, and may have here,i havent looked to see

I just glanced at some of those HCB pages, and it reminded me that despite all of the convuluted ideas for solves I came up with, most of them didn't take into account that center justification. They have to be listed that way for a reason.

Looking at that reflection clue, and looking at what we are supposed to do with the HCB symbols from page 6, and even my idea for combining the shape symbols, has anyone ever simply tried to find the centerpoint, cut the HCB down the middle, then flip and overlay on the other side? Obviously you would have to use tracing paper for this, and I would think maybe try doing 1 symbol type at a time.

Along those same lines, you could divide each of the "create a ring" pages down the middle, which would give us 6 halves. Then, overlay 1/2 of each page on top a 1/2 from the other 2 pages, then overlay the other set of halves. That would in effect give us 2 eclipses.

My guess is you would have to align the groupings of symbols just right, and when you do, the suns or moons will form letters.

I might actually be stupid enough to try that this weekend.

i still havent fig how to make morse work with the circled symbols
here is the breakdown,i checked them 3x,but if you go looking at them
you might want to double check the symbols

i had some time last wk, to look at the symbols in a circle idea, as morse
code and found something odd,you would think with so many lines of symbols,
that there would be more than 4 lines, without the circled symbols, and on
pg 18, all the lines have circled symbols
