1. ## User Puzzles

This week, I've decided to take a sabbatical, and get all caught up with my real work, which has come to an overload status.
This thread is for any cool puzzles you have made or something cool you saw.
I think I will make this a sticky, so you guys can use it as much as you want.

Thanks.
Sol

2. Well, I'll go.

Recently I posted a puzzle over in the Creative Corner: "Grant me Sanctuary." It's been solved, but I've offered a runner up prize to the first 2 people who PM me the process that gets from the poem to the solution.

Details are in this thread. Come play!

Cheers-

3. Around each shaded number are 8 white squares. However, each white square should have a number from 1 to 7. Once filled in, these 8 numbers will sum to the shaded number. In addition, once completed correctly, no row nor column will contain a duplicate number within a white square.

You can pm me your answers and Monday morning I will reveal the answer along with the people that got the puzzle correct!

Enjoy!

I posted one in the PALMS section.

5. I must either suck at these or it was too hard, because no one answered my puzzle

I was going to give it a try but my week has been really busy so I printed it and it is sitting at home waiting until I have 30 mins free. If I am able to solve it, without looking at the solution you just posted, I will let you know, even if it is late.

7. I'm in the same boat as Gabi, no time to think about puzzles this week. Hopefully you keep at it and when things clear up, I'll take a crack.

8. Ditto! I've been too busy... Sorry!
I also printed it out and will still take a whack at it (without looking at the solution), when I have some free time.

Quick (possibly easy?)Riddle:

From a fruit to a spice
Changing he to you
The statue is in Carson City
I can name him, can you too?

Name the fruit, the spice and the person.

Look for an armchair puzzle/treasure hunt based on Carson City coming early in 2006. Prizes up to \$1000...
