The message can then only be deciphered by the private key, which should be in GG's possession.

I'm going to attempt to contact GG using a message enciphered by the public key... I feel we're just grasping at straws, but for now, it's the best we can do.
Thanks. Very lucky that you got the code
I wonder what GG is doing? DDCC is getting changes... i wonder why it was down for a while.

I'm stuck. I can't import this key because it uses an "unknown compression algorithm".

*sigh... Of course it does. Because it can't just be that easy ever, can it?

We're cross referencing all the illuminati symbols and working on the coding methods in order to find a link between the small glimpses we've been seeing as these sites get taken down, put back up, modified, etc. And we've been logging the codes as they show up on our side as well.

As far as the behavior of the site changes, we're either dealing with a puzzle of immensely increased difficulty, or whoever runs these sites is still working out how they want to do it. I'm unenthusiastic at the prospects of either possibility.

Here's some good news: I've finally finished all my exams (!) so now I can dedicate a whole lot more time to cracking this thing.

I think it's best if we combine our efforts and share ideas.

For my own part, I'll be working on figuring out how to get the public key imported. I have some theories: (1) extra lines of code have been purposely inserted into the key, thus corrupting it, (2) the key has been double ciphered, and once we crack the first cipher, it should import, and (3) GG just doesn't love us. xD

By the way, does anyone have screencaps of 'themostabtruse.com' when it was still up? I completely missed that phase. =/

Only as far as ruling things out. So if that's progress then sure.

We've considered on our side that it may be double ciphered, or purposely changed in some way... however we've also been looking into the idea that it was purposely framed to APPEAR to be a PGP Key Block, but in fact is just a normal block of cipher text, possibly a poly-alphabet or something similar. This is based on GG's history of displaying his cipher text in misleading ways on purpose more than once.

Edit : ^This would also explain why the program isn't able to read the encryption.

Kinda upset that nothing seems to have come out of the Culling puzzle, and I'm really worried we're going to need some information from the Tunnels of Zurric information.

It does seem very Grngecko-esque for it to not be a PGP block, but something else entirely.

Posting cuz I haven't seen any of this yet. If others have shared, apologies for redundancy.

Questions I have after looking into the yahoo group posts: 1) How relevant are bait hives? 2) Who is Larry and how does he have access? ( lgttlgtt is user name on forum, via Yahoo! Groups, also has the first part of an e-mail) 3) Has anyone tried contacting him? 4) Yahoo! Groups - HOW?! And how is David Heaf related, if at all? 5) Why is there a lack of "I love bees" jokes/references? I mean... really... srsly...

If no one's posted it yet, here is Larry's blog: WarréBeek

    Cut and pasted, my friends!

Address, btw, is of the Best Western Hotel Cristal in Munich.

"polygraphia" very Trithemius related, as a quick Google search will reveal.
