    Default "Vegas Die" recommended hunt!!!!

I was wondering if anyone can tell me the protocol on getting a hunt recommended?

I have talked to the author of Vegas Die about this site and he is willing to give a discount through online orders for Tweleve members.

Here are some details on the book...

$25,000 to the first person to find the dagger hidden in Las Vegas. The clues to the location are in the book "Vegas Die".

The 2nd edition of the book will be out in a couple weeks.

The author has stated he will release a major clue on the website once 2000 books are sold, I believe we are at 400 books remaining.

A sequel will be released next year and contain another treasure hunt in Las Vegas.

The hunt ends in March 2011 (3 years) and if no one finds the dagger the solution will be published.

The hunt is open to anyone. (US and non US residents) Whoever turns in the dagger to the author gets the $25,000.

The author has stated you do not have to come to Las Vegas to find the dagger. He believes you can get to within 15 feet of the daggers location just from reading the book and solutions can be sent to him if you can't get someone to find it for you.

That's all I can think of now if anyone has any other questions I'll be happy to get the answers. If a moderator wants to talk to the author I will give them his e-mail address.

    Thanks,
    Mike

Sorry about that MDC777 - Cthree and I have talked, and due to Tweleve members wishes, Vegas Die and the Professor's Journal will become Recommended Hunts. Cthree is working on it and they will be moved there very soon.

hey - sounds great - I wouldn't mind an excuse to go to Vegas even if you don't HAVE to to win - I have only been there once and it was marvelous - there is this great chocolate factory there I visited............

    looking forward!

Default hopefully this move to 'recommended' will help sales

It may seem counter-productive to invite competition, but
more exposure may lead to clues, and maybe a sequel. The
book is not for everyone ... it's rather violent and has a
startling reason for the murders. But in this day and age
of super-violent movies and gratuitously gory TV shows (CSI),
I guess the author felt it was necessary in order to compete.
Definitely a lot to analyze as possible clues, and I'm sure it's
not nearly SOTD complex - so give it a try!. I got mine online
at Target, I think it was only $13 at the time.
