    Default Verse #5

    Lane Two twenty two
You'll see an arc of lights
    Weight and roots extended
    Together saved the site
    Of granite walls
    Wind swept halls
    Citadel in the night
    A wingless bird ascended
Born of ancient dreams of flight
    Beneath the only standing member
    Of a forest
    To the south
    White stone closest
    At twelve paces
    From the west side
    Get permission
    To dig out.

just thought i'd throw my 2 cents in on this one too. i personally like this w/ pic 6 (yeah, i know) i'm pairing this with florida. i like big tree park near longwood. it's home to "the senator", a 3500 year old tree, the oldest living thing in florida. by process of elimination, its the last one standing of a forest (a 3500 year old forest) to the south of lane 222 (gainesville), and cape canaveral. the white stone is there too. check it out! you'll like it... just havin fun...

Default verse refers to more than one place?

Is it possible that this verse actually references three or four different locales that are very near each other? If so, I can match three places, in one city, and their alignment matches the positions of the "droplets" and the gemstone in the picture. The arch complete with smaller inset arch is a perfect match too.

I'm very new to this particular hunt -- please let me know if I'm way off track.

All observations are valid until things are confirmed with digging.

Other solves have identified multiple locations within an area
to form a wlaking path to the desired spot.

Feel free to further explore your theories.

    Default Still working it out

I'm fairly confident that I won't be going anywhere near my suspect location, so if I get the rest of the verse worked out I'll share here.
But be warned: I've been wrong before. The "forest to the south" is giving me trouble. And the "arch" that I had so perfectly matched to one location now matches about 4 locations in the vicinity. I should probably study the two known solutions better before I go leading others astray.

I have been posting in q4t forums on this one since they have so much going on, and so much history. I just posted an observation that there is a NW 222 Lane in Brooker, FL, which interestingly is at 29,55N and 82,17W. However, it is pretty remote area, hence just an observation.

Where did you see the white stone? I know you can't see anything of the park except part of the road behind the trees on Google Earth (the park is on the S side of General Hutchinson Rd, and in between the industrial little area and the house on the edge of the woods). I'm going to see this weekend if anything in the park area can be seen as a white rock or not.

I did notice on a web site though that they have extended the boardwalk to make an observation deck - so if by some chance it was there, there is also a chance it is now impossible to get to.

ok, i just typed in big tree park, florida and hit search. the first site on the page i clicked to, and where the map comes up after scrolling down the page a bit, i clicked on it. then i zoomed in, clicked on satellite image, and re-centered my image & zoomed in again. the object i'm speaking of is at @ 4 o'clock on the boardwalk, a little to tle lower right of the boardwalk itself. the white circular thing in the field could be, but it didn't look rocklike enough from my screen.
