    Do you care to elaborate?

I shelved my copy of the Whistle Pig, mostly because I can't understand it. Then I read about all the drama over on Q4T, and wasn't sure if the hunt had been resolved or not...

    So, what did you find?

    Default text code?

maybe I'm seeing things but does anyone else see in the circle of the Pennsylvvania map using only the letters in the circle and assuming that the l in clearfield is really the number 1 you could get LOOK CODE 1. Has anyone tried cutting out the circle and laying it over the text?

katkit - You could do that, but it's a stretch, and there is no clear meaning for the result. The circle just contains names of real places on the map (Ringgold, Clearfield, Brook), slightly offset. The circle is over the spot where Punxsutawney is located, in line with one theme of the book.

Happy Easter, everyone. I thought it might be appropriate given one of the chapters is "Egg Hunt." How curious it is that the word "Easter" doesn't appear in this chapter at all. Conspicuous by its absence?

This must be some hunt. Why are you guys so silent here? I'm thinking about getting the book. Is it worth it?

    I think so, definitely.

It's so quiet because everyone's pretty much hit a brick wall.
