True....maybe so. Each chapter is also referencing a different sport: Boxing, horse racing, auto racing, baseball, football, swimming, etc. I've long thought those had something to do with the location,

Good news, I got my book yesterday. It makes things a lot clearer.
Shecrab, I think Freeland, Md is within 100 miles of the key. I now think we have to triangulate the location because of "three thumb tacks" in the map P. 25. I am not 100% sure that Dan Millender is the real author, I wonder if it could be someone more famous? It is also clear that we need to do a big solve yet. There should be 12 clues(eggs) in the following theme categories: Great American painting, state flowers, famous personalities, members of a world championship baseball team, and others. The theme category having to pertain to the years 1945 and 1956 will have a 13th clue(egg), whose theme may be obvious only to the author P. 71-72. Page 4 states, "a dozen stories all starting with, "One time I..."" one time I could be an annagram for "Item one I" or item 11. So each list would probably start with item 11. The last thing is to beware of the bright red of herring P. xiii. Good Luck- |

Hi to all,
I have found TWP to be an interesting challenge, and I am enjoying Duck's wicked sense of humor. "the evils of stewartship - a powerful force...the beauty...with a single cookie cutter" Pg. 66. I believe that would be Martha Stewart, and will put her name under the famous personalities list. How is everyone else doing? |

Just wanted to stick my neck out and let everyone know I am still offering to help solve this.
I now have about one third of the puzzle pieces. The good news is that it looks like there is going to be a few more weeks of winter. Happy Groundhog Day! |
