I can't say that I have found any clues other than what is posted on the official web site. I think he means more along the lines the numbers are not simply left to right. It will read in different patterns. Hope this helps in starting, and keep thinking differently! It will always help!

I thought it said that the puzzles will read from left to right in English?

What I find more intriguing is that on the clue page of their website for the first 2 puzzles, it says:

4. It's written in a slightly confusing manner, but what it means is that your answer should start at the top left, and move to the right. Or in other words, the location of the letters in the solution will not necessarily match the location of the letters in the puzzle.

"in other words, the location of the letters in the solution will not necessarily match the location of the letters in the puzzle"

What does this mean? The answer does not correspond to the numbers in the puzzle - the location of the letters in the solution will not necessarily match where the numbers are in the puzzle???

HHHEEEELLLLPPPPP!!!!! I'm stuck on #3

6. ## hints

Ibtweety,
Use the hints for puzzle 3 that Ken has provided. The space on the puzzle and the black square on the answer grid are hints. Also the word "the" written in the beginning of the answer grid is a hint. Once you get clue 3 you will understand what Bass means.
Good Luck

Correct. For puzzle 3, if you look at the black box in the solution, and then look at the blank square in the puzzle itself, you will notice that they do not line up.

And don't give up - I've been working on #3 for a couple of weeks now, to no avail!

## thanks

Thanks for the clarification! I can see 2 books would be wise - no waiting to submit a second solution.

## 2 BOOKS WOULD BE WISE.

Hello Everyone,

While this is a game of skill, It is also a game of strategy especially when it comes to the later prizes and the grand prize.

That is all that I am going to say.

Good Luck To Everyone.

I think what this means is that the answers don't always go from left to right.
