    You're welcome, WM!

Here's another - an ode to children who love bubbles everywhere!

    Squeezing
    Out and
    Forming
    One big
    Sphere that
    Bounces
    Reflects
    Floating
    Lazy
    Up and
    Down and
    Sharp point?
    POP!

    Default Love A Picnic

Do you know the area, cryptic? Although, as des was the first to post the "solve" correctly , you may have to debate him to death over the free lunch. Taxi is negotiable

Call me Ishmael and knit me a lifevest.

I’ve seen it come down, chile, restless

Bad times and the massah’s beatin.

Seen my cuz her belly up big with nothing eaten

But black beans tues thru sat and

    Starving. My whitebread no use.

Call me Ishmael and let me choose to

Call up the people like rain.

Pennies to heaven, honeyraining horses goin up, you know it.

Naw that ain’t it, that ain’t it.

    Whattosing. What to sing.

Broke up under the trestle now.

Oh, yeah, was hunting, was me hunting.

    Mobies. Xs marking the spout.

    Box with a useful key.

The Kalahari. Busted hinge. One glass eye.

Things you don’t feed the children.

Stuff for the shopping cart. Good shoes.

Or maybe shoes with a sole you could take and maybe attach

    To shoes not so good.

Seen it go up too, down there on the block by Marky’s Food.

Sometimes can’t seem to put the pages right in my head.

Call me Ishmael. I gathered feathers

For the chief, the red and rarest treasures,

    There on that spidery crag.

Everybody want to come out right.

In bed with their one at night.

Even the bugs smiling on the sill.

But like the poet said, I know the earth and I am sad.

Call me Ishmael, I hear the long ocean keen.

Sure, sometimes it’s just who got the best party.

So I’ll have a starspangled Grasshopper, me hearties.

I’ll pick my teeth with the Pequod’s splinter.

I'll eat watermelon in dead of winter.

I’ll have my anthem on the rocks.

    Nothing’s as lonely.

    Gargoyle Dementia

In streaming rills the acid rains
are sucked through spills in crusted drains
To swirl by twists in scoured bowels
and vomit past gaps in granite jowls--

Chortled malice that at once belies
the nonchalant ease of half-shut eyes--

    Eyes whose crinkled wrinklets reflect
an ancient theme in modern aspect:

Rat-like they scuttle, to and fro
    throughout the cobblestone maze below.

    OUTSTANDING, Paul and Jeff.!!!

Since Jeff is my partner in this endeavor, maybe he won't mind if I add to his work just a few more thoughts.

    Tortured grimace their one facade
    Grotesque thoughts flow and collide
    From lofty perch they oversee
    A kalidescope of fractured dreams

    And comment on mortal vanity.

I think not. Creativity is your gift, so go and create. I'm so happy for you, Renart, that you've gotten some praise for your artistic talents!

Note to Destructo/Chris - why aren't you posting more writings? You've alluded to more, so post, post, post! For that matter, I'm so happy for you that YOU'VE gotten some praise for your artistic talents as well.

Note to lurkers - post something creative! Take a chance. Be irreverant, creepy, romantic, cryptic (ha!) - just create. Photography, artwork, poems, essays, wonderings and puzzlements.

Note to Luc and 12pm - don't stop!

I am obviously enjoying this outlet very much. This is my favorite thread these days.

    Carol,

    Thanks for the nod

    Here's a little something:

I wake to Tweleve and take my waking slow
Sadly the Spider had to go
I wake to Tweleve and take my waking slow
where Beetle is, I'll never know

Do not go gently, hurry up and go
Pook's probably the last one that will show.
