    Congrats CK!!

BTW, you don't need any practice.

I recently finished reading one of your published novels. The Goddess Loves Your Shoes was remarkably well written and entertaining. Once I picked it up I couldn't put it down. You've got a ton of talent and quite an imagination. What a great book! The ending was awesome.

    You should be extremely proud.

    CK,

I finished Goddess last night and I have to say - you were so true to yourself that when I closed the back cover, I felt like I had been listening to you tell the story rather than reading it.

For anybody who pays attention, your offbeat, subtle humor is on every page, including (but not limited to) an aptly named fraternity, several pagan adaptations of common expressions, and one hilarious moment where the main character thinks, "intelligence; good" about a potential mate. (rofl) My favorite line, because it absolutely SCREAMED Shecrab to me, was (bad paraphrase, sorry) "This is not the time to worry about proper grammar!"

I've had the good fortune to read several books written by twelevers now, and I've had the greater fortune to meet some of the authors at the reunion, and in both, it's been my pleasure. That was a fun read for a multitude of reasons, Shecrab. Thanks for sharing!

CArol, you made my DAY!!! Thank you so much! I would absolutely LOVE it if you would do a review on Amazon.com for me--if you want to!

You guys are so great--you know I would never have finished that book and gotten it published if it hadn't been for y'all. You encouraged me to do NANOWRIMO, which led me to Createspace--and that was all she wrote. (er, so to speak.... LOL)

I have a website now: Scribbles: Writing by Christin Keck - Home and I'm kicking off a Fall publicity campaign soon for the book--and to get me motivated to finish installment #2 in the Cassie series: It will be called Altared States and will continue Cassie's story as she exacts revenge for...well, you'll have to wait and see.

I'd love it if you all joined the site--and we can get a writing forum going there!

Without you all, that book would still be sitting on my shelf gathering dust!

    THANK YOU!!!!!
