Default 1904 Treasure Hunt Medallion Found at Last!

Back in 2009, I wrote an article on my website about a forgotten newspaper treasure hunt promotion of 1904, which caused chaos and riots throughout the UK.

You can read that article here: http://www.planetslade.com/treasure-hunt-riots1.html.

Yesterday, I posted a follow-up article on the same website about a Plymouth man who's just unearthed one of that promotion's original prize discs. He found it buried four inches below the surface of the city's Brickfields recreation ground, making him the first person to actually lay eyes on one of these discs for well over 100 years.

You can read about his find and see some photographs of the disc itself here: http://www.planetslade.com/2013.html.
