Default Which dropcap maps / trees are left?

If someone could put it here, we can focus on those only. Process of elimination...

The only dropcap that hasn't been used so far is the one on page 78.

    Default appropriate!

seems so - that the only unused dropcap is one with a large letter R in it!
    I love the new development!
still hoping for an Ana and Zac before all is said and done! and I will be buying more books tomorrow for the signing in Louisville! what a ploy - and it works!
    looking forward

This is a trickier one, since it's not always clear which trees "count", nor is it clear which trees have been used for a couple of them. The creatures whose trees' illustrations are not completely clear are the Spider, Grasshopper, and Pook. (I've got ideas for the first 2, but no clue on the third one). Here is a link to a good summary of what tree illustrations have been used thus far: http://www.attsolution.com/trees.asp

As for dropcaps, one might want to keep in mind the Firefly - no dropcap needed!

The image posted of Newaygo SP look similar to the P78 dropcap. I can't say for certain, but it sure looks like it.

I would be VERY surprised if there were any specific information for this 14th token in the book. My strong feeling is that MS doesn't want the contest to end so quickly, and is coming up with more puzzles to extend its life.

    Bass,

I couldn't agree less, I posted on the ATT forum way back on June 6th that there was a 14th token, and it was Rusful. (And at some point I posted it here too)

Now of course, I got that from deciphering clues from the book..and I was right..I was exactly right, so this was obviously planned by Stadther long ago, and included in the book, so you need the book.

Of course, maybe I never could have solved from the book alone, and the need for more internet clues may explein why I am empty handed after knowing about the 14th Rusful token for over 6 months (yes I figured it out in March!)

Or maybe I'm just the smartest puzzle solver who is the worst on site treasure hunter in the world. Oh well...

How sure was I? I have driven back and forth to the same place 25 times, over 10,000 miles total! But, at the beginning of July, I was tired of it, and haven't been back. I sure hope that NC4 gives me the missing key I need...

    tomtom-
I certainly wish you all the best! If you were indeed correct in your clue deductions from the book, I congratulate you wholeheartedly. The only truly compelling information in my mind that there even could have been a Rusful token/jewel is that he was the final one to have been "converted". Of course, I apparently did not find these very powerful clues that you did!

It will be very interesting to see what information is needed from the book, and what is needed from the web. For now, I'm still standing by my by my belief that the token can be found from the web clue only.

I agree with Steve, but then again, I took "there are 13" to heart.

Seems like most of the hidden clues were to announce that there was a Pook token as the "ooo there's more!" factor. Why would MS put effort into "13" when in fact he knew of 14 (15? 16?).

However, I have been wrong so many times that I am definitely not putting all my eggs in this basket.
